Vintage Black Raggedy Ann Doll 20 Inch Cloth Rag Doll Curly Yarn Hair 1970s-80s

A vintage Black Raggedy Ann with a whole lot of personality. She stands 20 inches tall, with a head full of loose black yarn curls, a warm brown cloth face, round black eyes, a bright red triangle nose and that sweet, knowing Raggedy smile. She’s dressed for a Sunday afternoon: a cream dress with soft blue-gray stripes and tiny woven dots, a ruffled collar and puffed sleeves, under a white pinafore apron with a blue gingham waistband that ties in a bow at the back. Peek underneath and you’ll find lace-trimmed bloomers, red-and-white striped legs and dark brown cloth shoes. Condition: lovely for her age. Her hair is full, her face is clean and her outfit is complete. The apron and dress show light creasing from storage. There’s no maker’s tag, so I’m listing her as unbranded; she dates to the late 1970s or 1980s. Please see all photos. She’d be perfect for a collector of Black dolls, a nursery or a little girl’s room, or as a gift for someone who loved Raggedy Ann growing up and never saw one who looked like her. She lived in grandma’s home for many year, and now grandma is gone. She’s ready for her new home. 💜
