* This is a beautiful antique Early American Pressed Glass (EAPG) individual creamer pitcher in the iconic "Button Arches" pattern (Pattern #39), manufactured by George Duncan & Sons around the turn of the 20th century. This collectible piece features a brilliant, deep ruby-red flashed upper body contrasted against a beautifully detailed clear pressed glass base showcasing a geometric star design. * The front is hand-etched with the historic Pennsylvania town name "Aliquippa," which originates from the Iroquois Seneca language and translates directly to "Beautiful River" (named in honor of the legendary 18th-century Native American leader, Queen Aliquippa). * This small souvenir pitcher measures approximately 2 3/4” Tall x 3 1/4” Wide (including the clear applied glass handle) x 2” Deep, and it weighs a lightweight 4.41 ounces (125 grams). It is in Very Good preloved antique condition with no chips, cracks, or structural repairs. The ruby stain remains vibrant with great color retention, exhibiting only a few minor surface scratches consistent with normal use over the last century. * This is a wonderful historical keepsake and an exceptional crossover collectible perfect for EAPG pattern glass enthusiasts, antique souvenir collectors, or anyone with ties to Western Pennsylvania regional history.
