Up for sale is an adorable pair of vintage Mid-Century Modern long-necked Siamese cat salt and pepper shakers! Made in Japan during the 1950s/1960s, these kitschy felines feature stylized yellow bodies, classic dark brown points, painted facial expressions, and tiny decorative fabric bow collars. Condition Details: Both shakers are in good vintage condition with fantastic retro appeal. They feature a stamped "JAPAN" mark on the bottom base rim. Please note that there is expected vintage surface paint wear, specifically minor chipping/scuffing along the unglazed bottom rims as shown in the photos. The original corks have been updated with clean, modern translucent plastic stoppers so they are completely ready for kitchen use or display. Please review all photos closely to verify the exact condition. Shipped securely with plenty of protective wrapping! • Brand/Maker: Vintage Japanese Export (Stamped "JAPAN") • Time Period: 1950s / 1960s • Material: Ceramic / Porcelain • Theme: Siamese Cats, Mid Century Modern, Anthropomorphic Kitsch
