My husband was diagnosed with Acute Leukemia 2 years ago. We have 6 children together ages 2-10. Sadly he passed away in July after a 3rd relapse and respiratory failure. He was a 33 year old Army Veteran. The VA has since stalled all benefits and I'm trying to make ends meet for my children and I. I contacted my state rep, Congress, Senate, and any higher ups he knew in the military pretty much anyone I could. The benefits cane through shortly after. They don’t like the bad press. vabfashion@23ksmck yes I have. But it can take up to 10 months to recieve. The VA is even refusing to pay for his funeral now and that was the beginning of sept. They say my husband got enough benefits when he was alive to afford the cost. Even tho he didn't and we lost all that when he passed.

tazzygGood evening, I just read about your loss. I am sorry for your loss and will pray for you and your family. I am a Navy Veteran (27 years) and retiree. If there is a way that I can help you please let me know. You and your kids are entitled to his benefits. Not sure why the VA is holding on your entitlements. rily139I too posh for a cause hunny bunny ....I'm do very sorry for you loss ...may the Lord's New found angel enfold you in his precious wings and hold you forever safe until you are reunited once again!!!! I list my one and only grandbaby in July 2018 to the hands if her 14 yr old babysitter due to shaken baby syndrome....my Lily would have been 3 in December !!! I miss her so much and I know what you mean about not being promised tomorrow ....hugs and love to you and I will keep you in my prayers!!
