Hi, I’m Kelly (AKA breafkast)! 👋🏼😊 I live in TX with my husband and our cat, Bones! I am obsessed with sustainable fashion. Whether it’s a “free clothes” ad on Facebook Marketplace or dumpster diving on college move out day — rescuing clothes, home goods, and other usable items from the landfill is my full time job! ♻️ I hope to create a better world by encouraging others to donate/sell their unwanted clothing instead of throwing it away. I had one shirt recently that was “lost in transit” and so Poshmark refunded the buyer. I will go ahead and report the item as undelivered and posh will contact you if it doesn’t arrive by a certain date! I’m so sorry that happened - Luckily you will be refunded if it doesn’t arrive but I’m sorry you might not get your shirt ☹️

piedoodles hey, I wanted to mention to you that clothes that are damaged even to the point that no one would wear them should also be donated rather than thrown in the trash. I recently learned that they recycle that stuff into foam padding and house insulation after it goes through the reselling market without being sold.

piedoodles They should only be throwing away donated items that are wet with some sort of fluid contaminate. You might want to double check on my information, but it would be good to tell people that on your channel. Educating people is important!

things2sell Hi! I am a longtime follower of your videos and I live in Richardson, Tx! I have a suggestion for when you dive at a contractors dumpster. Pull your truck right up to the side of the dumpster and use it as your step stool into the dumpster. I cringe when I see you working so hard for your treasures and then having to drag them across the parking lot. I know sometimes you can’t do this, but, necessity is the mother of invention! Safe hunting!

mabelbry Hi Kelly, love your videos, you have the greatest personality and love love Pilgrim, do you have a seat belt for him, I worry about that sort of thing, they are really inexpensive and he will be a lot safer when he is with you in truck or car. I just found your videos on YouTube, i love what you do. we buy storage lockers and I was thinking, dumpster diving and storage units are nearly the same, only we have to pay for them, lol, love how you recycle so many items. we have yet made very much money, mostly what I call " getting buy money" or ," pocket money" . were on disability so every little penny helps us to get by.
