Baroque, Rococo Brass Brooch

This baroque or rococo style brooch is a piece of ornamental jewelry with a pin and clasp on the back for attachment to clothing. The design of the brooch features a deeply detailed, ornate floral and scroll motif. The raised design on the metal appears to have been created using a technique called repoussé, where the material is hammered from the reverse side to create a relief. Measures: Condition: Excellent!
