ali_thblondeone @julina1516 thanks, same to you! Selling Boutique items is different for everyone.. to be honest, I sell more of my gently used clothes than I do my boutique items. However, I never want to discourage anyone from selling Boutique items because everyone’s closet is different. I do this part time since I’m in school so I’m sure if I put more effort into it, I would sell more Boutique. If I were you, I would buy a few wholesale items and see how they sell.

ali_thblondeone @julina1516 I’m no expert on leather or suede, however, i store mine in the back of a closet, a Rubbermaid tub, or stored safely in a cool, dry basement. I have one of my mother’s suede coats from the 70’s (which she stored in one of the closets in my parents house) and it’s perfectly fine.

Weird things affect people’s habits for reasons unknown such as the weather, economy, political environment, etc,. I used to be a hair colorist and the same thing would happen.. ali_thblondeone @houseofvasco you have to wear them!! And style them anyway you want. I love wearing my sequin tops with cutoff shorts & cowboy boots. Because I’m tall and grower thicker with age, I tend to look for styles that are size Large or bigger. I thought I was the only one into this kinda stuff so it’s nice to know I’m not alone!!

ali_thblondeone @lajaponesa1 I would not. You have one week to ship an item. If you can’t find the person after you’ve just made a transaction, that’s usually a red flag. I would definitely get in touch with Posh Support about this matter, but most of all, trust your gut. If your gut is telling you not to send it, don’t send it. The worst that could happen is you cancel the order and the so-called buyer gets their money back.

ali_thblondeone @lingerielust she would love anything vintage. The one she liked the most was a robe that is baby blue with cream lace piping. It has short puffy sleeves and I believe it’s from the the late fifties to early sixties. It has one tie closure at the neck. Now the Nightgown, I don’t know if it matched identically, but it was also baby blue, a long gown with a sweet but naughty lace bustline.

My best advice to any newcomer is make sure your photographs & listings describe your items exactly as they are. Unless you’re selling Boutique or Wholesale items (which are brand new, with tags), most people understand they are buying secondhand and it’s not 100% perfect.
