rosiest1@carocutie60 ok. The bag is red patent leather. Like a candy apple red. (Glazed red) the straps are luggage leather - similar to glovetanned leather. Very smooth and thick. All leather trim is this glovetanned leather in tan color. The red trim in strap is red leather - it is not patent red leather and goes not match bag. The color is similar but the leather is closer to the trim leather luggage/glovetanned.
