Escada leather jacket

This outstanding vintage Escada short leather jacket was designed by Margaretha Ley for Escada in the 1980's. The jacket is made of a luxurious soft red leather with black leather trim on the collar, hem, sleeves and pockets. There are great big gold tone studs along the sleeves, pockets, and the center front opening. The studs down the center front opening also conceal the metal snaps that close this jacket. This great vintage jacket is fully lined and the shoulders are structured with shoulder pads.The pockets are functional, and could carry a key, lipstick, or any other small item. The outer fabric is 100% Leather and the Escada monogrammed lining is 100% Rayon. Made in W. Germany. This jacket is labeled size 34, but was meant to be worn oversized, which would be a boxy straight fit on a US size 4. It can fit up to a size 10 as a more fitted jacket.
