Hi Fellow Poshers 💕
In order to protect myself and to avoid fraud / scams, I fully record myself during the packaging process and I take over 30 pictures to ensure legitimacy of my sales.
Unfortunately with the alarming high volume of people scamming others and ruining the Poshmark shopping experience, this method not only helps me, but also ensures the authenticity of the items purchased from my closet.
🚫 Scammers you have been warned 🚫
Happy Poshing 😊💕 🛍

@choupeta I take photos of items ordered before sending as well. If I find defect I missed, I tell buyer and give them chance to cancel order. And I do not do live shows so to lessen chance of people regretting items bought because of impulse buys.

@chellonheels I take pictures to make sure there are no defects and at the same it guarantees the buyer that I’m sending their items in excellent condition. If there’s a defect that I didn’t see before the purchase, then I’ll message them prior to shipping, asking them what they want me to do 😊 honesty is important 👍🏻

Great tips!! my first posh buyer was a scammer and they told me they wanted to purchase something off site because they couldn't view all of the photos of the item on Posh. Then I got a very official looking email that even had Poshmark's symbol on it, saying so & so, wants to purchase just provide account # to deposit payment into. I was brand new, but I thought it's Posh so no fear!.Well it wasn't Posh, and they got $160+ from my account before I realized and froze my account.

@jhprepskool OMG! That’s so freaking scary 😨 I’m sorry it happened to you, that’s truly scum behavior to steal peoples money. That’s why I’m starting to only purchase from people that I bought before and also from sellers who do live shows so that way it also guarantees that they are genuine Poshmark sellers. There’s WAY TOO MUCH SCAM on Poshmark unfortunately ☹️😠😓
