Handcrafted Zoomorphic Studio Pottery Pitcher Sculpted in the stylized shape of a whimsical bird. Tripod base serving as the bird's legs, an extended spout forming the beak, small applied blue ceramic rounds for the eyes, and a broad curved handle above the stubby tail with tylized carved wing patterns on the body. Made of stoneware clay finished with a speckled off-white glaze with subtle dark flecks throughout. While highly sculptural, it acts as a functional small pitcher. Excellent as a conversational water pitcher, for serving wine, or sake carafe. Can double as a unique sculptural vase for small floral arrangements. Or can be used to water your house plants and sit on the counter between uses as it’s so unique and stunning. Crafted from stoneware clay with carved wing details and two sturdy legs for stability.
