jrust8 @jaimeg22 Hi! Your so sweet, thank you! I only recently, within the last year and a half, got serious about selling on here and have found that I just love it! Follow as many people as you can! I received the best tip to do this from a fellow posher, although there are many ways you can grow your followers! When you come across a closet that has 30k+ followers, follow all their followers! You will see 100’s of followers a day doing this!

jrust8 @jaimeg22 Also! Never pay for shipping supplies, go to your local post office and get free prepaid boxes, you can also get free boxes delivered to your house! Go to your local grocery store on the last day of the week and ask for the ads from the previous week, for packing material and save all the boxes and supplies from friends and family!

jaimeg22 @jrust8 thanks so much for all the advice. I've been getting all the boxes from the post office from the start and I save all the boxes and packing that comes from my husband's Amazon packages 😂. as for following all of another person's followers, is there any specific way to do that?

jrust8 @jaimeg22 Yeah, when you go into someone’s closet at the top it says followers and following. Just tap on followers and it will bring up a list of their active followers, all the ones that are blue tap!

m_acuna Hey posher!! U have a great closet!! Can I ask for a bit of advice? How do u get people to pay for items at the prices you have listed? I’m having a hard time with people trying to offer the lowest amount possible ☹️I’m making next to no profit . Please any advice would help and would be greatly appreciated.

jrust8 @m_acuna Hi! Yes, that is very common on here and given the times, it gets worse! I price my items with this in mind, I anticipate that I will have to discount the item at least 10% to make the sale. If I have an item that has been in my closet awhile, I will give additional discounts just to move items and stay on the algorithm.

jrust8 @m_acuna I also trust that another buyer will come along and sometimes counter my lowest and they can take it or leave it! Share you items like crazy and follow as many people as you can to get as many eyes on your items as possible!

jrust8 @m_acuna It takes time, getting people to leave reviews really helps too! Package every item like it’s a gift and it will go along way. I message lowballers in a bundle and tell them my lowest and a brief reason why (i.e NWT, excellent condition, limited edition whatever info I can give them that validates the sale and makes them feel good about the purchase at an agreed price)

jrust8 @m_acuna Of course! I have also found with pricing things that sometimes if you price too low, people assume you are just trying to get rid of things in your closet, not that you are a small business. Since I source most all my items, I price like a business would and so mark downs from there! I left my corporate job to do this, so I am wry invested! I hope that helps, don’t give up it will take off you have a great closet and lots of great reviews!

jrust8 @m_acuna I rarely price things under $15 because of the fees, it’s just not worth it. I feel like you could go up a little, so that people can make offers and you still get a decent price that works for both sides!

jrust8 @m_acuna Small example, your workout sets with top and bottoms, could easily be $25 as long as they are in good condition, washed etc. you would probably get around $20-22 that way.
