tattoosandtofuYou're stronger than you think. My grandmother took care of my ailing grandfather (who had ALS, pretty much the exact opposite of alzheimer's) for almost 11 years on her own. She was the strongest, most wonderful woman I've ever know.

wlew@toryshop Hi so sorry to hear! It's rough ! You need to find a dr for aging or a neurologist to do testing. Some times it's genetic and sometimes it happens. Once diagnosed their are medicine that can slow the progression, my husband is on Donepezil a generic. They have many new meds out, just get him/ her to the dr the sooner they find the better! I hope this helps? Let me know what happens 💐

I work with the elderly who have Alzheimer's & dementia & those who are just aging however I worked 4 years Strictly with Alzheimer's residents & I can say they are all unique in their own ways. Every day is a new day. Sometimes every hour. Working with these residents has been a blessing. I failed to mention that I'm a Resident Program Coordinator. Which means I do all the fun activities with them.

I've enjoyed my last 9 years working with them and thank God that He showed me how to love them the way He loves them. I know what it's like to be a professional patient (that what I call it in my situation) I currently visit 3 hospitals and too many specialist. I am fighting the big C right now and current doing ok. I am glad to read that your husband is hanging in there. It looks like he has good support. Poshmark is therapeutic for me. That and my rabbit. I love horses and was very excited to see yours. Clinic and University Hospital in Cleveland. His kids moved us here July 2014, and stopped seeing us Dec. 2014, so we need our friends in Ohio leaving end of July!!

My sister & I have petty much decided ours are snakes bc they play us, esp my ex & me, against another. We have teenagers tho😊 They're great until they're not.😕 The Cleveland Clinic 👍I trained h/j for fun w/ a variety of horses just to play in the arena, being a goofball training athletic app, Arab and quarter horses that were surprisingly talented

She had a center dedicated to alzhimers patients but has expanded & helps many more now. I spent a lot of time as a child visiting her centers; learned how difficult it is for family & loved ones. wlew@aly2010 I don't ride at the moment at all. Maybe after we get back home to Ohio, I will have more help with him!! His kids moved us here to Tenn. and just stopped talking to us after 6 months! It's very hard and he's not doing well, but my friends will be great help and his also( he's 82 so his friends are up there too) I just hope this is the right thing, we can't afford to live here with his medical bills I need to get home and work 4-5 hoursThank you for wishing us well!!

She received the FREE handmade bud vase that I gave her as a gift but did Not get the Tiffany pendant. She's a new Posher.

This singer, who lives in San Francisco filled out a claim stating that the STUD earrings were damaged. She was a New Posher. I can't imagine anyone wearing black onyx Stud earrings in SF. When she lost the case, she finally responded to my questions & admitted that the STUD earrings were smaller than she thought & that she noticed a tiny flaw in the Pre-owned earrings.

ney7kline@wlew - the address was correct and the necklace was delivered. PoshMark had to eat that one and paid me. I'm sure they didn't like that very much. Because I keep my receipts until my items have been delivered, I was able to show PoshMark that I had shipped before they sent me notification That the credit card didn't go through. Because it shipped priority mail, I was insured had the parcel gotten lost on the way back.

The order for the necklace was placed at 4:00 a.m. And PoshMark waited until 10 minutes before the post office closed to cancel the order. I just didn't know how that could possibly happen. I can understand getting the wrong zip code, but processing an order when the credit card had been declined?

What probably happened was it was stolen or reported stolen after the transaction went through. The real owner of the card saw the charge the next day since it transaction was at 4am. The other possibility is that her husband saw charge or the Posher herself had buyer's remorse.

My husband was in a bad car accident ; broken bones bruised but lucky to be alive. It is so exhausting physically and mentally. I’m stressing way too much making my ulcer flair up so being sick is even more difficult.

The Nursing home always pored food down his throat and made him aspirate again. They sent him to the hospital so many times for this. This time th hospital didn't take good care of him either. We left him alone for 1 hour and upon our return found him dead ourselves in his room as about 7 nursed were behind the desk. Horrible, disgusting people!...

He was bedridden for about 4 years and didn't even know me. I wish God just gives you all the strength you need to keep going. Theres nothing else we can do. mylittlebigboy@wlew Yes it is very painful for us. My dad didn't move or walk for years. Plus they did nothing for his cataracts and they made me blind as well. Then they let him go into a coma from too many medications and he ended up with heart and lung embolisms. His sundowning was so bad that my mom and I couldn't take care of him anymore, but in all honesty he was killed. Its just that he didn't have much quality of life.

Gary LeBlanc is a wonderful man who was caregiver to both parents- he travels to hospitals, & such- giving excellent advice. He’s is such a nice guy- you may want to look him up. She was diagnosed 4 years ago and she had a steady decline. She was always such a sweet, fun, funny spit fire of a lady and she has maintained much of her cute personality.

gretta970@wlew In December we found a great supplement that has dramatically helped her. She was always and avid reader and hadn’t been able to read for about a year. We are so happy a couple months after she started taking this she started reading again. She is very functional and still plays the piano. So many people are living with this terrible disease. It’s been so hard without him, we just celebrated 24 years of marriage, but lived together 10 years, so more than half my life with him by my side. Thank you for the compliment on my closet! All daughters and hubbies were with him the last day he passed. Dementia is a horrible illness. You can’t rationalize with them. I wish I could hug him still.

I know you know this, but try and focus on the wonderful years and memories....that’s 90% of your lives together. Remember to care for yourself. If you want to see your beloved horse, go.
