melaniegreycat @caroline_mroz Thanks! The upholsterer did a really great job centering the hide's pattern. There was enuf hide left over to do 3 throw pillows for the couch plus a "liner" for a cat's sleeping basket. Now, I just need a kitty...or 5!

You can be walking around thinking no one has been on this trail for ages and all of a sudden, you'll find a painted rock! I pick them up and leave them somewhere new for another to find. They're so cute! My husband grew up spending summers in northern MI hunting for Petoskey stones. Fun!

melaniegreycat @jubuttons Hi there, and thanks for your message! The buttons were inherited from my grandmother....I got her sewing chest chock full of them. She liked collecting buttons at roadside antique markets up in Northern Wisconsin back in the 50-60s.

styles_you_love thanks for the good wishes, I wish it was an interesting story but it was very boring! Are you going to do live shows do you think? I remember before I left I had three good weeks in March and then it was dead as a doornail for two or three weeks before I left. pretty slow now but it's taking me time to really get back to it....🤞 hopefully things will get better

melaniegreycat @caroline_mroz Hi there! I hope you're doing well! No, the fires are well enough away and blowing NW. But, oh my, the poor little town of Ruidoso. So sad. Instaed of fires, we've been dealing with extremely high winds and had a haboob blow thru yesterday. Completely uprooted a 30' tall Mesquite tree in our front yard. It was such a gorgeous tree with a 60' spread, I'm just sick about it. But, at least the grass will grow back now that the sun can get thru.
