tdupont61@melaniegreycat sounds like a common issue sometimes sourcing is more fun than posting until you realize it’s a problem 😂 . Have a wonderful day.

Jan 13Reply

melaniegreycat@tdupont61 Oh gosh, I don't even need to source stuff! I just need to unload my own accumulations 😸 Good day to you, too!

melaniegreycatWas really pretty from the outside, too!

Jan 10Reply

caroline_mrozThat is stunning!!!! Wow what a fantastic idea!!! I will copy for sure!!! Yours are in the mail!!! Our power is out from the snow storm we had! Not supposed to be back on till 5!! My husband said no poshing till power is back on 🤨

Jan 11Reply

melaniegreycat@caroline_mroz But now you don't have any doilies! Good luck digging out of the snow...and staying off posh 🙄

Jan 11Reply

caroline_mroz@melaniegreycat I’ll need it thanks! He put back in the garden, and I’m just looking at posh😬

Jan 11Reply

ebmcdermoLove the Christmas window!!! Just seeing this - wow!

Jan 18Reply

melaniegreycat@ebmcdermo Thanks....and thanks for the total closet share!!

Jan 18Reply

caroline_mrozMelanie!!! Omg you are too cute!!! Love that you added more pics to your beautiful Christmas display!!! 🤗

Jan 21Reply

melaniegreycat@caroline_mroz Thanks for all the shares and the props Caroline! I think I'd better put on some make-up before loading any more pix 😬

Jan 21Reply

caroline_mroz@melaniegreycat lol!!! that is funny! you don't need too!

Jan 21Reply

caroline_mrozholy cow! that is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

Jan 27Reply

melaniegreycat@caroline_mroz Those are the Rabbit Ear Peaks. Actually, they look more like coyote ears to me.

Jan 27Reply

caroline_mroz@melaniegreycat hahaha that is funny! I can that!

Jan 27Reply

ebmcdermoLove your Valentine's photos!!! So attractive!

Jan 31Reply

melaniegreycat@ebmcdermo Thank you! Only problem is after V-Day I'll have to re-shoot. Should've thought of that...... 🙄

Jan 31Reply

ebmcdermo@melaniegreycat maybe they will all sell 💕💕

Jan 31Reply

melaniegreycat@ebmcdermo 🤞🤞🤞

Jan 31Reply

ebmcdermo@melaniegreycat Melanie- thanks for the shares!. I was looking at your gold and jade pendant/necklace. Is that chain 14 kt gold?? Gorgeous sunshine here today after a messy blizzard - I'm going outside to play (i.e. walk around)

Feb 04Reply

melaniegreycat@ebmcdermo Thank you for your shares! The jade pendant and bale are 14K gold. According to my jeweler, the chain is gold plated. I am willing to sell them separately. Gorgeous here too, as usual!

Feb 04Reply

ebmcdermo@melaniegreycat thank you! I don’t need it - I was trying to figure out why it wasn’t being snapped up. If it was solid you would have priced it accordingly 🥰. Happy Poshing!!

Feb 04Reply

melaniegreycat@caroline_mroz Hi Caroline - I added some pix of using cowhide for upholstery. I love it!

Feb 07Reply

caroline_mroz@melaniegreycat 🥰❤️❤️❤️gorgeous absolutely gorgeous! Love it and your home!!!

Feb 07Reply

melaniegreycat@caroline_mroz Thanks! The upholsterer did a really great job centering the hide's pattern. There was enuf hide left over to do 3 throw pillows for the couch plus a "liner" for a cat's sleeping basket. Now, I just need a kitty...or 5!

Feb 07Reply

melaniegreycat@caroline_mroz Your home is a stand out - Looks like a photo shoot!

Feb 07Reply

melaniegreycat@caroline_mroz @ebmcdermo Following up on something Elizabeth mentioned earlier about odd names following her... I just had that happen to me too. Turns out it's my SISTER!?!?!? She said she didn't know why PM assigned/gave her that name. She's had it since 2017, I didn't even know she was on PM!

Feb 07Reply

caroline_mroz@melaniegreycat love your thinking!! I am a cat person! I do not have any animals at the moment, lost our last one a bout 5 years ago, don’t want one till we move and are settled! It will be a cat or two or three🤣

Feb 07Reply

caroline_mrozAnd thank you!

Feb 07Reply

melaniegreycat@caroline_mroz @ebmcdermo Also, I have a ? for you two. Lately, I've noticed Poshers offering new discount shipping prices, like $6.29, $5.95 & $3.99. When I make an offer, my only options are $7.45, $4.99 & free. Do you what's up with that? BTW, Congrats to you both on being Ambassadors!

Feb 07Reply

melaniegreycat@caroline_mroz Same here! We lost our last kitty about 6 years ago. He was the bestest cat ever. So ready for some new fur babies now that we're settled in our new digs. 😺😸😻🐈🐆🐈🐈

Feb 07Reply

ebmcdermo@melaniegreycat the covered chairs are beautiful 🥰 I want to sit right down with you and Caroline and have a “natter”

Feb 07Reply

ebmcdermo@caroline_mroz the woman who received the green tin said her mother loved the black cat.....luckily I didn’t say “what cat?” Lol

Feb 07Reply

ebmcdermo@melaniegreycat do you want us to follow her? Do share her posh name !!! Btw I continue to block the people who 1) have no photo 2) just joined and 3) are following 141 people. They all have the same MO. I made an offer to one of them and they disappeared. So I’m pretty sure they are trolls. I did see your visitor last March who asked u for more info and u said u joined 2 minutes before!!!!!

Feb 07Reply

ebmcdermo@melaniegreycat @caroline_mroz Over the 24 hour period when they changed their shipping to 7.45 I saw some weird numbers. Any offers I had made got updated with strange shipping. I can still offer 4.99 shipping to someone which used to cost me 2.12 and now costs me...2.46???

Feb 07Reply

caroline_mroz@ebmcdermo yep I got an e-mail saying postage would be going up!, bummer it's already high, not to mention the 5 LB limit, when the boxes we use from the P.O. say any weight?

Feb 07Reply

caroline_mroz@ebmcdermo what cat !!! hahah

Feb 07Reply

melaniegreycat@caroline_mroz @ebmcdermo We should get together for a natter with our catters 😻 Nah, my sister just buys, but it looks like only 2 or 3 things in the last 3-4 years! Interesting you found that 141 followers is a common thread. I found that, too. Huh. To your other point, my Merrills sold to someone who had no picture and had joined PM the same day she bought the shoes...I just checked and that was the last day she was active. Go figure.

Feb 07Reply

ebmcdermo@melaniegreycat as long as you got paid. That is the nice thing about posh - the money is locked in

Feb 07Reply

caroline_mroz@melaniegreycat yes it is strange, I always find it crazy when I see that someone has posted 100 items never shared once and everything is sold! Woah

Feb 07Reply

caroline_mrozIdk about different shipping prices I am only allowed the same as you?

Feb 07Reply

melaniegreycat@caroline_mroz ...and they've got a ga-zillion followers!

Feb 07Reply

caroline_mroz@melaniegreycat yes! Weird! I just added a pic of me on my meet the posher, it’s something I made out of an old dresser that was in poor shape, well after I took it apart 😳

Feb 07Reply

trishaloaI love you aesthetic, your photos AND your closet!! Also, I love that you used ALAS in your comment to me...that word is used too rarely 🌸♥️🙂

Feb 21Reply

melaniegreycat@trishaloa Thank you so much! It takes so much time to get the photos and color just right, doesn't it? I can tell you know what I mean 😉 Your closet is totally intriguing and I'll be a returning visitor. I love your Meet the Posher portrait...it's ethereal.

Feb 21Reply

Feb 27Reply

Jul 06Reply

caroline_mroz@melaniegreycat that’s funny! I am the most unphotogenic person!!!!

Jul 06Reply

melaniegreycat@caroline_mroz Well, I guess we'll just have to fight over the title for "Most Unphotogenic". I'm pretty sure I'll win, hands down, missy.

Jul 06Reply

wingedwearablesHi, Robin from wingedwearables gthanking you for the offer on the lovely Madonna. Very striking! Love your hugely interesting closet and what sounds like an incredible life. Can you send the “story with the brooch” for the sake of keeping the provenance. Thanks for sharing!

Sep 29Reply

melaniegreycat@wingedwearables Hi Robin! I'm so glad this is going to you! I know you've had your eye on it for a while and that you collect Mother Mary brooches. Your patience paid off and I am happy the brooch will be good hands. Thank you so much for making this yours! I'll get it wrapped up and off to you tomorrow. Take care, Melanie

Sep 29Reply

melaniegreycat@wingedwearables And, yes, I'll send the brooch's back story!

Sep 29Reply

wingedwearablesThanks for that. I collect these ( 32 ) to date. I have several I’m taking for appraisal so again thanks muchly.

Sep 29Reply

wingedwearablesP. S. Love the painted rocks. I got everybodys kids doing it at sisters cottage in northern MI 50 years ago and now their kids and grandkids still do so 😊

Sep 29Reply

melaniegreycat@wingedwearables What a great story! Painted rocks are a big thing here in the desert. You can be walking around thinking no one has been on this trail for ages and all of a sudden, you'll find a painted rock! I pick them up and leave them somewhere new for another to find. They're so cute! My husband grew up spending summers in northern MI hunting for Petoskey stones. Fun!

Oct 01Reply

wingedwearablesPetoskey is 15 miles north of my sisters place on Torch Lake. Small world, I have a Petoskey stone tie clip listed. You have to kinda hunt for it. Thanks for sharing

styles_you_loveHi Miss Melanie gray cat! we've been following Caroline's reno dollhouse, which is amazing! I love your pictures and I love kitties. I've had several, my last one passed away a couple years ago. I thought maybe you lived in Jackson Hole when I saw the first pictures. I've been to Angel fire, Taos, Santa Fe and even Albuquerque, but I don't remember those mts! I should've introduced myself to begin with, I'm Ann, and I'm already in love with your closet! it's going to be fun to share ❤️😘

Feb 19Reply

styles_you_loveis the little girl in the black and white picture, the last one, I don't know who it is, but she's absolutely beautiful!

Feb 19Reply

melaniegreycat@styles_you_love Hi Ann! Nice to meet you Yesterday! ☺ Yes, I love following Caroline and all her whimsy adventures. What a creative muse she is!

Feb 19Reply

melaniegreycat@styles_you_love Well, I used to live in Santa Fe, actually just a bit north, up the backside of the mountains. Was there for 18 years. A truely magical place. But, too much snow! Now in Southern NM, with a view of the Organ Mountains. NM really is "the Land of Enchantment"!

Feb 19Reply

melaniegreycat@styles_you_love OMGosh, your closet is a total trip! Love your style! Will enjoy sharing it💝

Feb 19Reply

melaniegreycat@styles_you_love Aw shucks. That was me, oh so many years ago. I still love wearing cat prints! And, I still love cats!!!!

Feb 19Reply

styles_you_loveso was the little bit older version of her in one of the other photos, beautiful that is

Feb 19Reply

styles_you_love@melaniegreycat You speak the truth

Feb 19Reply

styles_you_love@melaniegreycat oh God I'm worried! My closets "a trip", into the vintage past of my life, lol?

Feb 19Reply

melaniegreycat@styles_you_love Thanks for the props! Every decade or so, I manage a good photo 🙄 Yes, my closet is a "trip" in the same regard - ha!

Feb 19Reply

jewelsbysaraHi there🌼I would love for you to stop by at my closet for amazing new year deals✨if you have any questions please let me know. Happy Poshing✨🎉🎉

Mar 23Reply

jubuttonsHello: I am so pleased that @onegirlforever introduced us. It seems we both have a love of buttons. I've collected since I was a little girl for over 60 yrs. I haven't listed too many yet. Are you a member of any button societies? I'm a member of the National, Arizona, and Phoenix (Saguaro) Button Societies. You have some beautiful buttons. What are your favorites? I love your closet and your videos. I look forward to seeing more of your buttons. Julie @jubuttons

Apr 10Reply

melaniegreycat@jewelsbysara thanks for introducing me to your closet, beautuful!

Apr 10Reply

melaniegreycat@jubuttons Hi there, and thanks for your message! The buttons were inherited from my grandmother....I got her sewing chest chock full of them. She liked collecting buttons at roadside antique markets up in Northern Wisconsin back in the 50-60s.

Apr 10Reply

melaniegreycat@jubuttons They are all beauties...I just don't have the need/use for them and only hope to find good homes and a new life for them (check out the ones that have sold, too). Thanks for the likes! I never know for sure how to price them, being so unique & vintage/antique. Feel free to make an offer if you fancy these beauties. I appreciate your interest (and any intel!). Be well 😊

Apr 10Reply

melaniegreycat@jubuttons and no, I'm not a member of a button society. maybe I should've thought of that earlier....

Apr 10Reply

onegirlforever@jubuttons 👍😃👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Apr 10Reply

melaniegreycat@onegirlforever Thanks for the referral! Your closet is lovely and fun to visit!

Apr 10Reply

onegirlforever@melaniegreycat Hi! Happy to help! The kitty you have featured, looks like my kitty who passed from CKD, my Spanky-Loo. I saw the picture, it was so sweet, reminding me that he is always near me ❤️

Apr 10Reply

melaniegreycat@onegirlforever awww, thanks for that. I know how you feel. The picture is of my sweetpea, Mingo. He lived all 9 of his lives to the fullest and bravest. its been 8 years and I still miss him terribly. He was a great friend.

Apr 10Reply

styles_you_lovesorry I've been out of the loop, went on vacation and broke my collarbone, just getting back into sharing and the swing of things. Hope you've been well! 😘

melaniegreycat@styles_you_love oooof, that sounds painful! I hope at least it's due to an exciting adventure with a good story behind it 🙃 Mend up soon!

May 25Reply

styles_you_lovethanks for the good wishes, I wish it was an interesting story but it was very boring! Are you going to do live shows do you think? I remember before I left I had three good weeks in March and then it was dead as a doornail for two or three weeks before I left. pretty slow now but it's taking me time to really get back to it....🤞 hopefully things will get better

melaniegreycat@styles_you_love I'm so sorry you had that setback. use your recovery time to regroup and re-energize. you'll be stronger for it! No, I'm not not too into the live thing. Too much fuss for me. And I don't really enjoy watching others fumbling around on their live shows. I'd be fumbling waaay more. not a good look 🤪

melaniegreycat@sinsofcyn Wow, thanks for your enthusiastic attention! Yes, lived in Santa Fe for 18 years...actually north, up the backside of Baldy, 2.5 mikes out of Tesuque up 592. A glorious existence there. Now, happily enjoying relativly snow-free winters in Las Cruces. Hope you love all that snow up in northern MN - my mom's stomping grounds and around d ND.

caroline_mrozLove these pictures! Xox hope you are doing well! Are those awful fires affecting you? Caroline😊

melaniegreycat@caroline_mroz Hi there! I hope you're doing well! No, the fires are well enough away and blowing NW. But, oh my, the poor little town of Ruidoso. So sad. Instaed of fires, we've been dealing with extremely high winds and had a haboob blow thru yesterday. Completely uprooted a 30' tall Mesquite tree in our front yard. It was such a gorgeous tree with a 60' spread, I'm just sick about it. But, at least the grass will grow back now that the sun can get thru.

caroline_mroz@melaniegreycat I so sorry about your tree! I feel so bad for Ruidoso! It’s horrible! Wow that’s an awful wind storm!

melaniegreycat@tdupont61 Hi there! That's a very novel idea! I have so much stuff, too 🙄 and no time to properly photo/list...I really need to get around to doing that! I'm trying very hard not to bring more things into my home right now but I sure appreciate the your offer. Good luck!!!

Jan 13Reply

tdupont61@melaniegreycat sounds like a common issue sometimes sourcing is more fun than posting until you realize it’s a problem 😂 . Have a wonderful day.

Jan 13Reply

melaniegreycat@tdupont61 Oh gosh, I don't even need to source stuff! I just need to unload my own accumulations 😸 Good day to you, too!
