Hi! For those of you who know me - you know my old (a little crazy) name was a part of my past. A family illness caused me to retire from my AD agency in NYC and move to the Eastern Shore of VA - now I’m getting rid of most of my lovely designer NY clothes and "stuff" from my old life. I also acquire things to sell, curating chic, stylish, cute, whimsical & amusing items. My new closet name is a reflection of my love of all these things. It's also what my Dad calls me - CALAMITY! TTFN!

alexandra_incHello from someone in VA who once also lived in NY 🗽. Your closet has so much cool stuff! I was having fun liking lots of the pins. Granny panties FTW! I hopefully will be back to buy something when my wallet is feeling more full...

chroigraOld life, explain please

May 28Reply

calamity_dawn@chroigra hey I used to run an advertising agency in NY - now I’m am living a very simple life in VERY rural VA with my Dad, 4 dogs and a bunch of chickens. So I don’t need all my business wardrobe or much of the household stuff from my NY life. 😁

May 29Reply

chroigraI live off the grid as well solar powered, chickens goats and a few cattle and my four rescued animals, I wouldn’t have it either way

May 29Reply

calamity_dawn@chroigra Yes! But it certainly has been a culture shock moving from my high stress NY advertising business to farms everywhere you look and an hour and a half to the nearest Starbucks!

May 29Reply

chroigra@calamity_dawn I totally understand the Starbucks
