L - Comrad Compression Socks

As new other than one was partially tried-on some time ago (then stuffed in a sock drawer to attract lint, etc. Could use a wash, of course, and this will be done). The older person couldn’t get them on. Have included pictures of the fabric and measurements, hoping this will help someone determine their suitability. The size chart indicates for a calf circumference of 15-17”. Sorry, I don’t know anything else about them. Comrad socks are not cheap. The reference price assumes they are the least expensive style available. Questions welcome… I’ll do my best! Thanks for looking :)
