Bluetooth connection. Comes with built in display for calculating on the pad itself. Why launch calculator on desktop when you can launch it on the pad itself?! Control media and volume as well AND displays the song it is playing also! Neat stuff unlike a standard accounting keyboard number pad or num pad mechanical version. That stuff is elementary. Full functioning. Takes 2 AA batteries. You can always buy something new for similar price without the looks or slender design or features. There's a lot of ugly stuff on the market but this, this is niiiice. I have a few of them. Yeah I'm that kind of buyer I buy more than one of something usually. This includes my closet.
