Authentic Louis Vuitton briefcase - beautiful vintage condition
Date code 8902: date of production February 1989
This was my grandmother’s and is very well loved.
16 x 12 x 2.5 inches (length x height x width)
Inside leather pocket is a little sticky due to age - common with vintage LV pieces. Interior is very clean.
Zippers, canvas and stitching all in excellent condition

Your grandmothers .. well date codes (production codes). If it’s authentic somewhere in the interior normally on the upper insides there will be a visible number code.

@toppsvintage which date code validator did you use? I used one and it showed 8902 with a production date of Feb 1989. $400 is too low of an offer for me.

You’re right about the date code yes. I figured that out this afternoon. The recently sold average for this bag in better shape eebay is between 350-450 CAD. If you decide you wanna do a deal let me know I guess.
