M. HURTIG & SON FURS Stunning Jacket

You won’t find a vintage fur jacket in this excellent condition! It’s like it was made yesterday. Believed to be 1960s and obviously stored properly. From master furriers, M. Hurtig & sons of Winnipeg, Manitoba. The company has quite the history. Quality and well crafted, no detail is left out. Two matching fur covered buttons Side seam pockets Sleeves are cuffed and finished with a frill seam tape Rear seam vents Inside pocket with a detailed seam finish There are no tags for size or material Approximately 22” ptp inside and 23” long I’m a large size L and this fits me but I would be more comfortable with a little more room The fur, by researching, is a sheared muskrat and super soft. Believe me when I say it’s softer than a baby’s plush toy! The fur is sheared leaving the soft undercoat. The guard outer fur is plucked off. No call outs! No funky odor … moth balls, musty, animal, or otherwise No shedding In a beautiful deep chocolate brown.
