Dec 10Reply

jvl554Hi and THANKS for all the shares!!! Those are greatly appreciated!!! Have a wonderful week. Joel

Dec 10Reply

doryjo@jvl554 No problem! Sharing is caring ya?! You have a great week as well! Stop in if you need shared some more!

Dec 10Reply

jvl554@doryjo Doryjo is it Posh etiquette to make an offer after someone “likes”one of your items? One it seems pushy to me and two, I do not want to make an offer by lowering my price. Just curious on your thoughts or views. Joel

Dec 10Reply

doryjo@jvl554 um I wouldnt say a standard..many people do but it's not required. Many ppl will like ur items and save them until they are ready to buy, like me. Some ppl will make an offer if they really want it right away. Another option is to share their like to a bundle... that way u can offer 10% off without an added deduction for shipping. Just keep in mind though, some people just need the prompting ..and that offer will seal the deal. Ultimately, it is ur choice😁

Dec 10Reply

jvl554@doryjo Do you automatically lower the price when making someone an offer and if so by how much? Sorry for all the questions Joel

Dec 10Reply

doryjo@jvl554 it depends on the item but no I dont automatically offer...I try to automatically share though! Lol! When I offer, I offer 10% to all. When I know all have had a 10% offer then I'll do 20% but wont until all the likes have used up 10%. 30% is just too much for me on most of my items but I do it on some not much. We have to make money ya know...$2 or $3 earned just isnt enough for the effort. I make earnings a $5 minimum...unless it's something small like jewelry or beanies

Dec 10Reply

doryjo@jvl554 and no worries...I dont mind the questions 😁 I like to help!

Dec 10Reply

jvl554@doryjo Thanks and your help is GREATLY appreciated!!!

Dec 10Reply

doryjo@jvl554 Anytime! One thing to remember...make the clothes look nice! Design ur "store window" and lighting is good too. People want to see what they are really getting and how it may look on. If u have dark photos and wrinkles people may like the item but wonder about its care or lasting ability.

Dec 11Reply

jvl554@doryjo I am working on creating better images. Do you know where I can get an inexpensive dress form? I think that will help since most of my items will end up being woman’s clothing.

Dec 11Reply

doryjo@jvl554 Your best bet is clearance racks and thrift stores

Dec 11Reply

jvl554@doryjo clearance racks?

Dec 11Reply

doryjo@jvl554 yeah...many a great items can be found on the clearance racks if Macy's and Dillard and tj max or Nordstrom...otherwise sign up to get promotion emails for sales so u can go online when they are having one. YouTube videos can tell u what brands to look for and profit margins you should be looking at as well

Dec 11Reply

jvl554@doryjo Is that what most Poshers do is resell ? I thought most people just sold their own stuff, but after viewing many closets I realized that is not the case. Thanks for the GREAT tips! I have a niece that works at Macy’s see what kind of discount she gets. What about a dress form? Do you think that will help presenting the clothes better?

Dec 11Reply

doryjo@jvl554 Like a manikin? Yes, they help with form so people know how things sit. I do find that it is more efficient. When I buy, I like to know the form and how it will sit. the items sit longer in my likes if I am curious about what I am getting

Dec 11Reply

jvl554@doryjo sorry I thought they were called dress forms. Not sure where I could get a mannequin, but that could work also. You have been so very kind and helpful! Thanks Joel

Dec 12Reply

doryjo@jtplane indeed it is.😁..it speaks to my strong artistic side but even with fashion goals need to be met and this just happens to be the path to mine fashion is another outlet for the paintings 🎨I dont get to make 😉
