readeadams Hey, thanks. I kind of am the cool aunt type. I try to keep abreast of the generations coming up, what they're thinking, dreaming, wearing, their music. I know the limitations of living on not near enough money. Raised two kids alone. I allowed myself one bottle of expensive perfume a year. Hah! I'm amenable to working something out on the Prana.

larainebrain @readeadams what was your perfume of choice? Just curious? It's always interesting to me how strong our memories are connected to our sense of smell. I love the smell of Burts Bees bug spray bc it takes me right back to Michigan working at summer camp. As for the sweater dress, if you need the sale don't let me stop you but I won't have any chump change till October:)

readeadams @larainebrain The perfume was an Estée Lauder. For the life of me I can't remember the name. I was wearing it when I met my husband. He recognizes the scent immediately whenever he encounters it. After working at a hospital for nearly 20 years, where we couldn't wear any scents, I got completely away from all perfumes.

readeadams A girlfriend and I took an Uber downtown Minneapolis to a ritzy restaurant, had drinks and dessert, and flirted with the cute waiters (who were young enough to be our grandchildren). That's about it. But we had a great time!

larainebrain @readeadams continued: and is retiring. It's pretty cool and very scary. So, to actually answer your question, I don't, not nearly enough. When I go home and have the granny sitters I take off with my cousins or meet up with pals. I know, what you're thinking but I practice yoga near daily and I think that is what saves my sanity😜 or a glass of vino.

readeadams You sound like you're in a good place, attitude-wise. I was a single parent for much of the time my kids were growing up, and I ran my own court reporting business. Talk about overworked and frazzled... Thank the gods my parents lived in the same town or I would have been ALL work and no play. When my kids went off to college, I was free for the first time in 20 years. I missed the kids but was really happy to have fewer responsibilities.

My gut says go for it but, I need to articulate it all in a way that's communicating accurately what I'm expecting too. It's a new world for me navigating making money teaching my craft. readeadams I love your new head shots. Nice! My son was home over Christmas with his photographer wife. They helped me set up a new improved shooting "studio," complete with a new professional heavy paper backdrop and new lights. Jesse also showed me how to position the lights to achieve the best outcomes. I am so grateful for their suggestions and help. Take a look at the new listings compared with the old. Quite a difference in the background. Yay!

2mytrees I received the Lucky cords today. I will mark them as accepted but did want to indicate I was disappointed that they were not clean and it would be my guess that the stains on them were from dog drool based on the location. I washed them and the stains did come out but it was disappointing that they were not laundered. I feel the extra time before they were mailed would have been adequate to deliver a clean product.

Most of my profits are spent on bats and cleats now. Poshmark is a great passive income stream for me because I’ve been doing it long enough it feels too easy.
