pjvarela@casualglam Thank you! It was exciting when I received the email. I look through your closet often...you're doing an amazing job with your Mystery Boxes 👍🏼😊

Jan 21Reply

bouchicCongratulations!! Well deserved!😄

Jan 21Reply

pjvarela@bouchic Aahhh, thank you! 💕✨🌷

Jan 21Reply

pjvarela@mallerians Hi Lia!!! I noticed you're selling your flight of swans dress...I solved the low bust line issue I had with my dress with one of those bras that has lace across to cover cleavage...no need to alter or worry about showing too much with one of those bras. Soma has some really nice ones👍🏼

Jan 26Reply

malleriansHi! Congratulations on becoming a suggested user! The flight of swans dress is beautiful, unfortunately it's a little more complicated than just a low bust line. I need some darting done to get it to really fit, and am not sue that I want to do that much altering. Right now I'm enjoying looking at it though.

Jan 26Reply

pjvarela@mallerians Thanks Lia! It was a shock to receive the email. That's so unfortunate that you can't wear the dress as is...sorry😕 I still haven't worn mine but even if I never do I don't think I could ever let it go. It's my favorite closet ornament!😜

Jan 26Reply

malleriansit's sill great to look at and think about, which I do with a lot of other dresses anyway. I'm surprised you haven't worn yours out!!

Jan 28Reply

creagirlI'm not surprised at all, but I am surprised that you were surprised! 😜 Your closet is one of my favorites on PM! Congratulations! You totally deserve it. 💕

Jan 31Reply

pjvarela@creagirl That is so sweet of you Abigail!!! Im still surprised. I think because I thought one had to have a ton of followers to be a suggested user. I'm not sure how people get hundreds of thousands of followers...through social media maybe???😕

Jan 31Reply

creagirlHaha! Beats me. If I figure it out, I'll let you know. I'm just thinking the people who have that many followers must have WAY more free time than I do.

Jan 31Reply

anthrogurlAwesome!!!! Congrats!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎈🎈🎈 Well deserved 👏👏👏👏

Feb 02Reply

pjvarela@creagirl Hey Abigail! I figured it out...how some people have so many followers!! If you link your Facebook account to your posh account all of your Facebook followers become PM followers. Too bad I don't have a Facebook account. It totally makes sense now🤔

Feb 03Reply

pjvarela@baglady24 Thanks Laura! Yeah PM definitely keeps me busier these days😃

Feb 03Reply

pjvarela@anthrogurl Thanks Liza!!😊

Feb 05Reply

pjvarela@alicia1458 Yay, I'm so glad you were able to make the crocheted clouds work! I love that dress but I'm just too short for it to be flattering. Is the soft pour dress long? I love it but again, I'm afraid my tiny frame will drown in it.

Feb 09Reply

alicia1458@pjvarela it hit me around the same place, right below the knees. It is a little high waisted on me though, so if you got it hemmed it would be beautiful!!

Feb 10Reply

Feb 28Reply

arosegerami@pjvarela hey girl! Do you still have that anthro blouse I sold you a while back? Blue with embroidery and gold stitching?

Mar 09Reply

gglowingHi congrats on being a suggested user. I am so sorry, but someone else put an offer in before yours and it was also a bit higher. Should it not go through for any reason I will let you know. Thank you so much for considering my closet to shop in! :-)

Mar 16Reply

pjvarela@gglowing Hi Brandi! No need to apologize but thank you for reaching out. It's a gorgeous dress. I'm sure whomever bought it will enjoy it😊

Mar 16Reply

b_lutzweiler@pjvarela Thanks for your purchase. Your closet is phenomenal!

Mar 28Reply

pjvarela@b_lutzweiler Thank you Brittany!! I wish I could just sell it all to make room😖 I'm excited to have the Reed dress in green. I've wanted it for a while. Thank you for offering it in your closet 😊

Mar 28Reply

pjvarela@mallerians Hi Lia!!! I miss you 😢 I often think of you and hope everything is going well. I didn't want to be rude on that other listing but that cardigan is a shrunken medium not an xs and you can tell by looking at it that it does not have the beautiful flow it should have. Thanks for remembering though.😊

Apr 10Reply

kjseideHi Piedad! I was curious how that one dress worked out for you but for the life of me I can't remember the name right now. It was like white and grey and red with polka dots and stripes haha! I've been searching but don't even know the name. Pathetic. Any way, I was wondering if you had any sizing advice on how it runs? Is it true to size? Thanks!!!

Apr 12Reply

pjvarela@kjseide Hi Katie. The dress worked out wonderfully once I removed some color transfer stains from one of the large white polka dots on the dress 😕 I'd say it runs true to size by Anthro standards but surprisingly shorter than what I thought. I think it measures 34" but with the full skirt it works. I'd been searching for that dress at a reasonable price for quite some time as well. If the west street dress works for you in a size XS then this one will fit you in a zero👍🏼😊

Apr 12Reply

kjseideThank you so much for all of the info!!! Boo about the color transfer though! Is the west street dress the blue chevron and then the burgundy dotted? I prefer the fit of the small😭. The xsmall def works. But is much shorter than I prefer. I am trying to track down a small so I can let go of my xsmall! I'm so attached to the color, but the fit of my blue version in the small is perfect. So maybe I would need a 2 in your dress!!!! I'm assuming. My search continues! Thank you again for your input!!

Apr 12Reply

pjvarela@kjseide No problem! If you decide to let go of the xs west street in burgundy please let me know. I waited too long to buy in store and it sold out...been sad about it ever since😢

Apr 12Reply

kjseideOh no!! I for sure will let you know!! I hate when that happens!! 😭 I'm on the hunt for a small so I'll keep you posted!! 😃

Apr 12Reply

malleriansHi-- sorry, I didn't realize it was just shrunken. That's disappointing. I haven't had time to keep up, and I miss chatting with you! It's so hard to maintain a good time balance for everything. Hope you are doing well-- you are in my thoughts as well.

Apr 13Reply

chateau_chichi piedad, just wanted to let you know that i love your closet! it's an anthro girl's dream!

May 04Reply

pjvarela@sf_gal Hi Stephanie! Welcome to Poshmark!! I am one of many Anthro addicts in the PM community. Haha. I hope you're enjoying your experience here so far ✨👍🏼😊

May 04Reply

pjvarela@n22kwhips Thanks Nora! I can't wait to wear my new dress😍

May 07Reply

dingbertsPiedad - you, your name, and your closet are all absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!!! *swoon* @karint I just came across this closet and am floored by the beauty! I thought of you right away. Have you had the pleasure of perusing it yet?

May 10Reply

karint@dingberts You said perusing! Haha! I love that word :) Yes I have perused this closet and I adore it- so many, many pretty things. Thanks for reminding me of it! And like you I also love Piedad's name ☺️

May 10Reply

pjvarela@dingberts Oh my goodness Maria, I think that's the kindest thing anyone could say!!! Thank you so much for the compliments😘😘😘 You have a pretty great closet as well👍🏼😊

May 10Reply

pjvarela@karint @dingberts Thank you Karin and Maria! It's a hard name to grow up with because of the spelling. Here's a fun fact: Michelangelo was born exactly 500 years before me and his most famous piece is La Pieta (Piedad in Italian)...this is merely a coincidence 🤓

May 10Reply

dingberts@pjvarela You're very welcome. Looking through your closet is like being in a candy shop :) That is such a wonderful coincidence!!!

May 10Reply

pjvarela@alysid20 Hi! Can you tell me when my Spacedye swing tunic will ship? Thanks!!😊

May 14Reply

alysid20@pjvarela hi. It will ship out today!

May 14Reply

pjvarela@alysid20 Thank you!😊

May 14Reply

jlport1@pjvarela Hi Piedad!!! I left you a note on Mrc about 3 dresses. ☺☺☺☺

May 23Reply

pjvarela@jlport1 Hey Jennifer! I just found a Perenne dress on eBay it is $40 buy it now and says new without tags😃

Jul 18Reply

jlport1@pjvarela no way?!? What should i search?

Jul 18Reply

pjvarela@jlport1 It's listed as "new Anthropologie tiny brand dress" and the brand is Anthropologie😁

Jul 18Reply

jlport1@pjvarela GOT IT!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! And you saved me from buying another different $130,dress because i got my buying impulse out. You are the best! Thanks again ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Jul 18Reply

pjvarela@jlport1 Yay!!! I'm so glad you nabbed it😃👍🏼🎉

Jul 18Reply

pjvarela@anthrogurl Hi Liza! I'm planning on listing the Perenne Dress on merc and just wanted to let you know first in case you're still interested. I'll be listing for $55 to get back what I paid. It is just a little shorter than I like. So sad to let it go😢

Aug 06Reply

anthrogurl@pjvarela hi piedad! Thanks for thinking about me 😊Just read reviews on this. I ussually go for petite but i did read that it runs short even at 38". Is it really 38" and how do you think the length will run for my 5'3" frame? Thank you

Aug 06Reply

pjvarela@anthrogurl Haha it's not even close to 38" long! I measured it today and the front is 33-34"" and the back is a little longer. If it was 38" that would probably be too long even for me with this style. I need it to be 36" like my other Tiny shirtdress. 😕

Aug 07Reply

anthrogurl@pjvarela hi..sorry for the delay in responding. I like the dress but also trying to cut back on spending and I only have $15 credit on M. Is there anyway you can do $50total or see anything in my closet?Dont want to hold you back from selling but can you please let me know. 😊..also..just wondering there's no belt, right? Thank you piedad.

Aug 09Reply

anthrogurl@pjvarela hi..i ended up finding one already. Thanks again 😊

Aug 13Reply

pjvarela@anthrogurl oh good! I figured you snagged the one that popped up on here. I'm still deciding if I want to keep to wear with leggings. It's so beautiful and hard to find💙

Aug 13Reply

amylynnsclosetdo you sell on Tradesy also? How do you like it compared to Posh? Thinking about adding to my repertoire of sites.

Sep 07Reply

pjvarela@amylynnscloset Hi Amy! I do not sell on that platform. I have purchased once from there and absolutely do not like it and will not purchase again or sell on there. I really only purchase on here and sell here and on merc.😊

Sep 07Reply

amylynnscloset@pjvarela thanks for your honesty. Think I will stay away. Have heard people either live or hate merc.

Sep 07Reply

pjvarela@amylynnscloset yeah merc isn't that great. Only good thing is no fees. Poshmark is definitely the best. The creator is a genius to make a selling platform with a social aspect. Great sense of community here 😊

Sep 07Reply

katyyan25Yay! Congratulations 🎉🎈🎊🍾

Nov 03Reply

yrpetal@pjvarela I would do them both for 75. If that works for you, create your bundle and make that offer. I will accept.

Nov 17Reply

pjvarela@yrpetal Thank you!!! I forgot that was an added feature 😊

Nov 17Reply

yrpetal@pjvarela I think it's better if we agree first, then you're not wondering if I'll accept it or not 😉 anytime you'd like a price, please feel free to ask.. I'll pack your new shoes up tonight & they'll go out first thing tomorrow. You should have them by Monday.

Nov 17Reply

pjvarela@yrpetal Thank you! I'm really in need of shoes and excited to wear these 😊

Nov 17Reply

yrpetal@pjvarela sure. I'd do $75.

Nov 18Reply

pjvarela@yrpetal Anyway you could do $65 since I just purchased from you and I'd be able to buy sooner...Hopefully by Thanksgiving??? 😬🦃

Nov 18Reply

yrpetal@pjvarela probably 😃

Nov 18Reply

pjvarela@yrpetal 😱 Oh my!!! That would be so great...you probably don't do holds though...do you?? I'm not one of those people who would disappear after asking. First can I get a waist and shoulder seam measurement? I'm getting really excited 😁

Nov 18Reply

pjvarela@yrpetal actually if the measurements are right I'd love to wear this on Thanksgiving just need to move some money around...seriously dangerous closet you have!!!!😳

Nov 18Reply

yrpetal@pjvarela shoulder to shoulder is 16". Waist is 31".

Nov 18Reply

pjvarela@yrpetal shoulder measurement seems kind of big...is that in between the seams at the back of the shoulder?😕

Nov 18Reply

yrpetal@pjvarela typo sorry 15" across back. If I try this on again, I might not sell it 😂

Nov 18Reply

yrpetalIt's 14" across back at center of sleeve if that helps

Nov 18Reply

pjvarela@yrpetal haha, yeah I'm embarrassed to say how many times I've done that. I actually don't usually try on anything before I sell because I then remember why I bought it to begin with and end up marking it as not for sale 😣 I measured 14" on every coat, jacket, and blazer in my closets...ugh...let me research my closet some more. I'm determined this has to fit me (I'm usually a zero) 😢

Nov 18Reply

yrpetal@pjvarela the 15" (actually 14 3/4") was across the top shoulder to shoulder. 14" across the actual back

Nov 18Reply

pjvarela@yrpetal Okay, research is complete! I'm ready...will you reduce the price manually to see if shipping is reduced?😊

Nov 18Reply

yrpetal@pjvarela they only reduce shipping if there's no likes. The coat has 2. Sorry 😥

Nov 18Reply

pjvarela@yrpetal that's not true at all. Anyone who likes an item is notified of reduced shipping via email. As long as the price is reduced by 10% or more from the lowest historical price 👍🏼

Nov 18Reply

yrpetal@pjvarela hmmm! Bad info from another post. I'll give it a try. Let me know. Changing it now.

Nov 18Reply

yrpetalDone

Nov 18Reply

yrpetal@pjvarela Did it work for reduced shipping?

Nov 18Reply

pjvarela@yrpetal Thank you!!!!!💙💙💙

Nov 18Reply

pjvarela@yrpetal didn't get reduced shipping. It's a little random when there is not a shipping promo. I received several notifications today alone regarding reduced shipping on price drops. Next time there is a promo read about it to get clarification on how it works. Items also must be at least $10. If you list an item for $50 then raise the price to say $75 and reduce to $60 reduced shipping will NEVER kick in

Nov 18Reply

pjvarela@yrpetal price has to be at least 10% below the lowest historical price...sad how much I know but I've sold over 300 listings in 3 1/2 years👍🏼

Nov 18Reply

yrpetal@pjvarela Wow I thought I had a lot of clothes! It's pretty confusing at times & a lot of work! I usually send my items to a consignment shop & they just mail me a check. 😍 Now that's easy but it's more fun here.

Nov 18Reply

pjvarela@yrpetal definitely more fun here and more lucrative for sure but also very addictive!!! Thank you so much for the great deals from your closet. I'm so excited! Have a great night😊❤️

Nov 18Reply

yrpetal@pjvarela Shoes & coat are on their way to you!

Nov 19Reply

pjvarela@poshmark24934 This is obviously a scam to hack poshmark accounts. I have reported you and suggest everyone else does the same.

Nov 19Reply

mckitrickHello love, I just saw your offer on the Pilcro stone colored jeans. Were you not interested anymore?

Dec 02Reply

pjvarela@mckitrick I am still interested. I figured you were not considering the offer then I spent my posh funds on something else that popped up. If you're willing to accept $20 I can still buy 😊

Dec 02Reply

mckitrick@pjvarela yes absolutely! I'm happy to sell, and I'm super envious of your closet! I wish I was small enough for all your Anthro goodies! I was running around like crazy with my kiddos today with a dead phone so I didn't see your offer.

Dec 02Reply

pjvarela@mckitrick You're probably not as short as me...you're obviously in much better shape than I am...I should be envious of you!!!Okay...will you lower the price to see if it will give me reduced shipping? I'll buy now before I go to bed 😊

Dec 02Reply

mckitrick@pjvarela I was JUST about to offer the same thing! I'll lower right now 😘 you're the sweetest, for now I'll just admire your perfect taste and tiny clothes I'll never fit in to!

pjvarela@cshalaby Hi Carla! I hope I'm not being a bother tagging you in things I love that would fit you. If you want me to stop I completely understand. I think tagging others helps me to not buy. lol. I hope your year is off to a great start and I'm so glad you love the skirt. ❤

Jan 07Reply

pjvarela@cshalaby Oh good! I just don't want to be annoying. You know the top in the product shot of the skirt you bought recently is here on PM for $10. Let me know if you'd like me to tag you in it 😊

Jan 07Reply

amyjv89Hey girl! Just wanted to say hi & introduce myself as a fellow ABQ posher! 🤗 I just moved to NM last month and love these mountain views so far! So unreal! 😍 - One day we'll have to plan a meet-up! Anyways, love your closet! ❣️ Keep on Poshing! 😘

Jan 18Reply

pursaholic143Love your closet!! So many classic Anthro pieces that I miss and love. So nostalgic going through your closet!

Jan 29Reply

pjvarela@pursaholic143 Thank you! If I had the space I'd own every piece I've ever loved but unfortunately I have to cycle through letting some go (which is sometimes very difficult) and bringing different ones in. ❤

Jan 29Reply

pursaholic143@pjvarela I totally agree! Sadly the newer pieces aren't as appealing as the classic ones, which is why I started on Poshmark! In hopes of finding what I missed 🤗

Jan 29Reply

pjvarela@pursaholic143 Yes, same here! Well good luck finding your most coveted pieces ❤👍🏼😊

Jan 29Reply

espo724I'm glad you loved the tweed coat! Your closet is so beautiful!! I wish I were still a size 0 or I'd buy everything in it!!!

Feb 13Reply

pjvarela@kavita85 I absolutely don't think you were trying to be deceiving. Sometimes people just don't inspect items they list closely and I figured that's what happened. I don't need a partial refund but I appreciate the gesture. I do like the cardigan a lot so I'm working on taking care of the issues. It has no stains or tears and I do appreciate that 😊

Mar 07Reply

soosiezI love your closet! It is like strolling through a fine art museum! Stunning bevy of beauty! Thank you for your eye, your writing skills and knowledge! 👍❤🙋🏻Suzanne

Mar 21Reply

pjvarela@soosiez Wow, thank you Suzanne! That's the nicest compliment I've ever received. I guess collecting Anthro items has become a hobby/ addiction of mine (depending on how you look at it). It seems to appease my visual needs 😍

Mar 21Reply

pjvarela@dingberts Darn! I had mine altered. It cost around $30 to take the hem up and another $20 to have straps made out of the extra fabric. The one I'm selling is unaltered but I'm trying to recoup purchase and alteration cost on the other one

Mar 28Reply

dingberts@pjvarela Wow that sounds like a lot to alter. I've never really had anything altered before, so I don't know how much things should cost :/

Mar 29Reply

leili24Hi, welcome to Posh😀please check out my closet when you get a chance. Bundle and purchase 3 items for 30% off and pick an item from my closet for $10 or less for free. 🌺Just comment me what item you like to have for free. Only now through this Sunday.

sarfairyHey there, Piedad! I think I just bought your Amara dress on eBay! I didn’t even know it was you! If you want to cancel and sell it to me privately, then let me know. I have been looking for that dress for a few years. I had it and returned it and have always regretted it. Hope all is well! ❤️sarah

Nov 13Reply

pjvarela@sarfairy Hi Sarah! I think if I cancel I will still owe 10% to the other site so I’m okay with just completing that transaction. I wish I would have known you were looking. For some reason I thought you already found it 😊

Nov 13Reply

sarfairy@pjvarela oh bummer! No, I never found it. I wanted an xsp but I have looked for so long that I will be happy to get an xs. I just had a baby so everything is a little bigger on me anyway so it should fit!

Nov 13Reply

pjvarela@sarfairy Aaaaaah 😱 A baby?!?!? Congratulations Sarah!!!! I’m so happy for you 🌺🌈🦋 I’ll get the dress shipped out for you by tomorrow 👍🏼😊

Nov 13Reply

pjvarela@palmerber17 Tax info was never sent in my comments but I looked it up. It sounds like it collects sales tax for you if you live in a state that charges online sales tax...my purchases shouldn’t be taxed because my state does not yet collect online sales tax but my buyers might hmmm...that really stinks. I’m glad you mentioned it otherwise I wouldn’t have known till Monday 😝

pjvarela@palmerber17 from the online info a few states are exempt but mine wasn’t mentioned...oh well what can I do. Thanks again and thanks for being such a gracious seller 😘

lschwan722Oh my gosh I’m so sorry about the dress! As i mentioned I was the second owner but never wore it. It’s been folded/stored for awhile and I had no idea there were any issues! Clearly I need to sort clothes in brighter light 🤦🏻‍♀️

pjvarela@lschwan722 Hi Lisa. It’s no problem. I’ve done the same especially, like you said, if you never wore it and tucked it away. You probably would have noticed if you were about to put it on. 😊

pjvarela@sarfairy Hi Sarah! Happy 4th of July 🎇 I got paid early due to the holiday so I paid for the dress today. Thank you so much. I’ve wanted that dress for a while 💙 Can’t wait to wear it ☺️

virg2306@pjvarela I feel badly that my Floreat Silk Dress arrived to you in less than stellar condition. I've asked Poshmark about issuing a refund for the price of the dress, plus shipping. If this isn't part of Poshmark's policy, I will gladly personally refund the cost of the dress, plus any shipping charges you might have paid.

pjvarela@virg2306 Thanks but I wasn’t planning on returning it. I can have a seamstress fold over and sew the stained part and it won’t show. I was very surprised to find it tightly packed into a very small box. It would have been better off in plastic or wrapped in tissue.

virg2306@pjvarela Thank you for your input about packing/shipping. Please keep the dress, don't return it. But I'd still like to refund your money!
