Is it a jacket? Is it a sweater? It's both! Two in one, plus two colours. Might also be considered a cardigan... This is a beautiful and flattering sweater jacket that cinches at the waist. Softly tailored cut and seam details give this a modern look. Two buttons are loose (see picture); otherwise, it is in excellent condition with no visible flaws or damage. Reversible (light grey and dark grey) boiled wool, and double breasted. Boiled wool undergoes a mechanical process where the knitted wool fabric is washed in hot water and agitated. This shrinks the fibers, creating a tightly compressed, non-fraying fabric with a distinct textured surface rather than a smooth, woven thread pattern. You can see that the lapels and inside of the jacket feature a raw/cleanly cut contrasting lighter grey reverse side. Because boiled wool is felted and does not fray at the edges, it is frequently used to make unlined, structural jackets like this one with exposed, clean seams. Brand, size (see measurements) and fabric labels have been removed. You can tell from the fabric and detail that this is a high-end garment from Europe. Fabric is a heavier-weight, but soft like a wool blanket, has a bit of stretch, very high quality boiled wool, made to last and keep you very warm. Size: M-L. Please see measurements for accuracy.
