emilydc @em_closet Get the book - Kon Mari. I couldn't have done it on my own. She gives such good advice and different than anything I have tried before. It's so crazy that now I walk around LOOKING for things to discard ! Just today, took boxes to donate and found three more things in my closet to sell.. I also got rid of hundreds of books, all paper stuff, knick nack, makeup. . It's so calming to have empty drawers and shelves. I have one more category - which is sentimental - rough!

em_closet @emilydc Hearing that re inspired me to try and get rid of things, mainly clothing items. I have managed to down size on my bags/purses (surprisingly they were the easiest for me to let go or sell), but shoes and dresses have been the hardest thing, knowing I may not wear a dress twice or a certain pair of shoes, but may need them one day 🙈🙄 lol

emilydc @em_closet I've tried a bunch of apps for selling furniture, rugs, lamps etc but it's not easy like clothes because shipping is such a big factor. So I've either taken to local consignment store or donate to Salvation Army.
