*** READ WARNING BELOW!!*** Similar to Tile or Apple Tags. I had a few of these and they worked great until they discontinued the app. It works two ways- you can ring the TrackR from the app, or ring your phone by pressing the button on the TrackR. It takes a CR2016 watch battery which you have to replace once a year or so, but a 3 pack from the dollar store is $1.25 and I am happy to include an extra battery! ***MUST READ*** This product’s app has been discontinued in the App Store since 2021. You will ONLY BE ABLE TO USE THESE IF YOU HAVE THE APP ALREADY! Or can figure out how to download the old app. Do not buy this if you do not already have the app installed and are currently using TrackR devices! I let the app expire on my phone and now they are useless to me :(
