The Valentino dress is a beautiful silk.
Difficult to capture in photo in full length - the top is scalloped sheer layers of blue - and there is a pretty dip at the top of the back of the dress. The scallop reaches around the neckline in full.

Please note that I would not press it or steam it with my iron (!) I am not a professional - but it is a smooth dress and does not have any ruching or gathering. Just beautiful texture and classy elegant neckline, the cut includes slight shaping at the waist. It has been protected inside a Holts garment bag. And I would box it and send inside the Holts garment bag.
