VINTAGE LACE DRESS AND BOLÉRO

This is a genuine vintage 1960s dress crafted by the mid-century Canadian mid-scale label "Missy Matron" by Spi-Bor Montreal. Dress and jacket are in great condition. Belt shows signs of wear. Label says size 18 but please see measurements as vintage runs SMALL. There is no stretch. I estimate it is a small-ish comtemporary size 12. Jacket has no closure, bracelet length sleeve. Both are fully lined. Bust pit to pit: 21 in Waist : 17 in Hips: 21 in Spi-Bor was a mid-20th-century garment manufacturing brand operating out of Montreal, Quebec, which served as a major manufacturing hub for Canadian fashion during the 1960s and 1970s. The "Missy Matron" line catered to classic, semi-formal and cocktail daywear. Material: The dress features a vibrant blue, floral-patterned lace overlay stitched over a smooth, coordinating blue acetate or nylon lining.Hardware: It utilizes a standard vintage metal zipper closure along the upper back center seam, which is highly characteristic of garments constructed prior to the mid-1970s.
