Vintage Rectangular Colourful Check Scarf

This vintage scarf is shaped like a long rectangle and has hand-rolled edges. There are no tags listing material contents, but the fabric is lightweight and somewhat sheer. My best guess would be silk or viscose, but I can't confirm. The scarf has ornate decorative ends and a checker pattern in the center, with reds, blues, and pinky purples.
