Vintage Rectangular Perfume Brooch

This vintage brooch is made of a silver tone metal and has a modern locking c pin closure. The brooch is shaped like a wide rectangle and the back is smooth and flat. The front is split into two identical halves, each with the appearance of a closed envelope. There are small intricate details with even small cut-outs. This brooch was intended to be filled or imbued with perfume, allowing it to waft out slowly as the brooch is worn. I'm not sure how the brooch is supposed to be filled, just that it is.
