This item was packed in armor! Took me several minutes to remove layer after layer of styrofoam to reach it and then it was hemmed in by even more packing materials. Needless to say, it arrived in primo condition and I am very happy with it. The lid fits so tightly that I believe it is airtight. Now I want another one! Thank you for selling it to me.
