Back in the day … in the early 1980’s these Bermuda bags were very fashionable as a summer purse among the country club, tennis club, yacht club and sorority young preppy women. I had one with 3 different covers - navy, white eyelet and burgundy. Many years passed since those days in college and law school and over the years and many moves -domestically and internationally - I lost track of mine. I was delighted to see that the seller had one she was selling from the estate of her dear late mother. I am honored to use this bag as it brings back many fond memories of springs and summers past.

This was an excellent transaction all the way around. This garment is a vintage trench coat that is no longer made. I had the exact same trench coat for many years and wore it until it finally wore out. The size is Womens 18 Extra Long. I have been searching on the secondary market for over 8 years for a replacement without luck. The seller told me that the coat she sold me was from the estate of her late mother and was one of her prized possessions. She enclosed a very sweet note about the history of the coat. It brought tears to my eyes. I will wear and treasure this coat just as her mother did.❤️❤️❤️
