The e-reader that we purchased was as described and all the buttons worked perfectly. The seller included the batteries (which was kind as it saves us from having to find some to test it!). The seller also included some other items that were unexpected that the kiddos appreciated! Additionally, I was away from home and they held onto it for a few days so it wasn’t left in the cold weather unattended while we away!
