The sweater set arrived quickly and was packed with care. So cute and cozy! I appreciate the sentiment of the extra little gift. I think it was meant with kindness behind it. However, it was unwelcome to receive an item with a bible verse that the person who enabled my childhood abuser used on me instead of getting me the help I needed or preventing them from continuing to hurt me. Maybe be a little more cautious when sending bible themed surprises. The Bible is powerful and it has been used as a weapon on many people. I know you did not intend to cause me to relive childhood trauma, but that is a risk when sending bible related content out of the context of knowing someone or their past.
