I prefer using Poshmark over other shopping platforms because of the sense of community. I guess its less AI robotic and more personal connections. Before I made an offer, I checked out the sellers profile and closet. I could tell she was super cool just by her offerings. Once I made an offer and began communicating I realized my intuition was correct. My buying experience was a pleasure from the start of negotiations to receiving my sweater. When collecting art such as this one of a kind piece, the provenance or history of the piece is important. Through out conversations, I got an idea of the life this sweater lived before reaching my hands and it adds so much more emotional value for value to me. I get to tell people who complement my sweater that not only is a one of one, but also spent its early life in the vibrant but hot city of Memphis and that the heat is what brought this sweater to cold of upstate NY. When the seller told me she was just happy the sweater is going to a good home, I really felt that. Can go on about it more but in short, item arrived fast, as described and seller was amazing.
