I recently picked up a pair of black and red Air Griffey Max 1s—my all-time favorite silhouette, hands down. As a long-time fan of the Griffey Max 1, with over a dozen pairs in my collection, this 2010 release was a rare gem I just couldn’t pass up. Sure, buying a 14-year-old shoe comes with some risks (we all know how wear and tear can creep in), but these held up well. The only thing they need is a quick paint job around the midsole and maybe a deep clean. Honestly, I was surprised they’re in such great condition—especially since the seller even kept the original receipt from 14 years ago! For the price, this was a steal.
