EDIT: The seller kindly sent me a replacement jacket at no charge. I wasn’t expecting it and it was such a sweet thing to do. Excellent customer service and I would definitely purchase from her again. The jacket is super cute and I appreciate the little extra gift that was included, but the jacket smells strongly of mold. When I opened the box, I was hit with a strong smell of old, moldy books. I popped it in the dryer with a couple of dryer sheets but it didn’t help at all. My husband has a really bad sense of smell and even he noticed it and also thought it smelled like moldy books. I’m sorry. I hate to leave a bad review, but the only way the seller would not have been aware of this issue when they were packing it up is if they completely lack a sense of smell. I am going to wash it with some vinegar and see if that helps, I’m just worried that it will ruin the fluffy softness of the jacket. But there’s no way I can wear it when it smells like this.
