I am over the moon with these boots and you have to know the story. I got my first pair of real hiking/snow boots with my dad in 8th grade, in 2003. I remember he was a little worried to buy such an expensive pair of boots for me. What if my feet grew? What if they were uncomfortable? Turns out they were perfect. I wore them on that trip and to backpack the Lost Coast of CA, to the top of Mt. Whitney, and countless other trip. I finally had to stop wearing them early this year, not because the tread or leather had worn, but because there was just no pad left in the sole at all anymore. I’ve tried two other pairs of boots and finally decided to look for an old Northface pair with the same tread as my favorite pair. To my amazement when these arrived, they are THE PAIR!! Same color, fabric, tread, everything. Thank you so much. If I could leave a million stars, I would. They are perfect.
