Thank goodness the The box had some damage, but the actual item arrived fine in perfect condition. I do suggest however, anything delicate of any great value is best to pot place in a box with bubble wrap inside another box. It may be a tad more expensive in mailing, but I find it always arrive safely that way, but we were lucky in this case, this arrived in perfect condition, in spite of its vacation halfway around the world Have a happy new year
