Lovely AUTHENTIC vintage Coach! Sadly, the bag is covered with brown shoe polish; but so are 80-90% of Coach bags on secondhand markets. Paint/polish dries the bag eventually develops dry rot on the seams & straps, destroying them and they start to shred. Shoe polish comes off with just rubbing alcohol & cotton pads - paint requires acetone. Condition it well as you go along removing it. Coach vegetable dyed glove-tanned leather bags NEVER need to be painted/shoe polished. If they start to fade/wear on corners, it's just dry! Leather conditioner alone will pull out the color again.
