I've been looking for a few years for the *perfect* black denim jacket -- my patch collection was starting to become unruly and it was time to find them a home. I couldn't have imagined that a gem like this one was waiting out there! Words cannot describe the feeling I had when I unwrapped this coat and put it on for the first time... the fit was perfect and the fabric was warm and soft, like it was welcoming me in. I immediately took a bar of beeswax to it, as beeswax is great for waterproofing, mold protection, abrasion resistance, and defending the colour against UV fading. I had a feeling this coat was going to be my traveling companion for quite some time, so I wanted to make sure she was well-protected for the journey ahead. After the waxing, I was finally able to attach my patches. With every stitch I wove intention into the coat, casting spells of protection and hopes of adventure with each thread. Finally, I gave her a small hanging-loop of ribbon behind the collar, so she can lay down the burdens of the day. Thank you for finding this gorgeous jewel, and thank you again for allowing me to give her a new home. I will treasure and protect and show her off like the diamond she is! <3<3<3
