I'm happy with this shirt in every way, except it had a noticeable detergent or dryer sheet smell. I had to rinse it 3 times with baking soda and dry it outdoors to get rid of the smell. I suggest you use nonscented laundry products. In addition, you should consider that a lot of scented products contain phthalates, a type of chemical additive that is a known endocrine disruptor. The label of ingredients may not list "phthalates," as they are considered part of the "fragrance." Beware. You can find more information by Googling some key words--phthalates, scented laundry products, endocrine disruptors.
