The Valentino flats and a very thoughtful and personal note arrived with them this afternoon! The shoes are wonderful and every bit as different and elegant an addition to my wardrobe as I thought they would be. As mentioned, I am now relegated to flats and kitten heels - in a half size larger than before - so my entire shoe wardrobe pretty much is being replaced ... sigh. My decision is to buy fewer but better/more interesting shoes. Thank you for taking the time to answer questions and for making this a very pleasurable purchase - it's genuinely appreciated! (P.S. Don't worry about the box - it's fine and exactly as expected - thank you for including it.)
