I had a weekend away & came home to order last night! I have to say, you have no idea how lovely & touching your note was! I come from 5 generations of breast cancer. I decided to have the prophylactic mastectomy given the strong cancer gene in my family. I had support from my mom and my maternal grandma's cousin, but that's it. Nothing from my maternal aunts or sisters (the one had it the same week as me, the other one I flew to Denmark to be with her when she had her mastectomy)! I appreciate your kind words & thoughtfulness, especially since I have felt really under supported through it. I am a therapist, so naturally I am thinking about creating a support group for single women survivors and previvors.....it's not easy to navigate alone! I already wore the bra this morning on my walk. Also, thanks for the extra bonus bra! It will be perfect on the days I stretch/do yoga!!
