pants are not simply "wool" they are 39% wool, 28% polyester, 28% rayon, 5% spandex. However, they are new and fit well and will be a seasonless pair pants. Should have asked for a picture of the fiber content label - and it should be included in listings, as fiber content does matter to some people.
