I have been trying for years to figure out the best way to remove smell from clothes. The best way is to use much less detergent which holds the dirt in unless rinsed thoroughly. The way after the smells have become seemingly permanent is hang on clothes line and water them like a lawn until there are no more suds on the ground. Perfume is almost impossible to remove and covering it up with more Perfume makes the clothes un wearable. Anyway just shaing what I've learned about this major problem.
