This is a fantastic design that I am going to have silver plated. Although the description said "silver and gold tone metal" there isn't any discernible gold tone, which doesn't matter because I'm going to cover the base metal. But for someone who was hoping for a 2-tone necklace, it might have been a disappointment in the solidly silver tone. I'm happy though, so thank you. Best, Dixie
