The pants themselves are in great shape and beautiful. But they had a very strong, terrible chemical smell. Like lighter fluid. I had to throw them immediately into the laundry. Also, and please know the I realize this isn’t the seller’s fault, the package was hung up in Indianapolis for DAYS. I’m in Chicago, so it should have reached me within 3 days of getting to Indy. When the package arrived, the pale green plastic shipping envelope was covered with all this black stuff that looked almost like it had fallen into black tar or some black liquid, which had then dried to a flaky, stinky mess all over the envelope. I’m guessing there was an accident at the USPS facility in Indy. So I don’t blame the seller for the shipping time or the appearance of the package. And who knows, the smell of the pants might actually have come from whatever that black stuff was. The good news is that after washing, the pants have no smell and look great. Thank you.
