Edit: Thank you for getting them to me so quickly! I am so happy about this purchase. I went to REI and tried these on in a men’s 8, $220 w/tax. I am gearing up to thru hike the AT starting next month. I wear a women’s 8.5 normally and a men’s 7. I will be wearing socks and sock liners so I figured and 8 but the heel didn’t lock down with both socks on. I found this seller had them NEW for under half the price!!! When the I first received them I was a bit worried as they fit tight and had prickly pieces pressing into my ankles. So, after trimming the insides and wearing them on 2 hikes with my dog, I fell in love. I wanted to love the Salomon’s because I always loved the way they look but as far as comfort goes, Oboz O-Fit in the Sawtooth 2 is legit! They are light, water repellent (proof?, is anything??) and seem to dry rather quickly for boots. They are very, very lightweight and the look is growing on me. I had Merrill’s in the past and they look so much like those shoes that I was so sick of but the feel is so very much better. Thank you seller for this amazing deal!
