Super sturdy! Fabric outer layer is kind of a mix between canvas and fuax suede, but will definitely hold up against a couple bangs here and there. I went at it with a light layer of scotch guard for waterproofing and they took it really well. Little bit on the bigger side length wise, but good for my narrow feet! The rubber soles are way thicker than a pair of boots I was using before, so pretty good for doing walking around in rain or snow. 10/10 very excellent boots.
