I am still crying…… I know you are probably very busy but I hope you’ll talk a min to read this. When I was 12 years old, my father left my Momma for a much younger woman after a 20 year marriage, with 5 children. She was never allowed to work. in March, In June, 3 months later, said father, burns our house to the ground at 2:00am in the morning. My Momma, myself, and my 4 brothers were able to escape the fire, with only the clothing on our backs. We lost everything including our cat, a Momma and Daddy dogs, and their 4 baby puppies. August, two months later, my Grandma passed away. Needless to say, I now suffer from PTSD. My Momma found a job working for Sarah Coventry. The woman she was working for, selling jewelry, gifted to me this special little “ Puppy Love “ pin, identical to the one, you were so very kind to offer. The first day back to school, my so called best friend, bullied me into giving my special pin to her. Me, with nothing to my name, except for donated clothing, still homeless, and a broken spirit couldn’t say, “no” I gave it to her. 😔 You have no idea how very grateful, and appreciative that I am to have found your post and was able to retrieve a piece of my past, that meant so much to me.
